TRANS-CULTURAL MEMBERSHIP: LOCAL GROUNDING: INDIVIDUAL AND COMMUNAL LEARNING: CIRCLE AND RITUAL VIA 4 WORLDS: ID – INTEGRAL DEVELOPMENT
Trans4m Communiversity Associates (TCA) starts out its process of Integral – with a view to Communiversity – Development (ID), trans-culturally, by engaging individuals in communities, within or outside of organisations, through our Four Worlds : “southern”, “eastern”, “northern” and “western” practical – as our so called integral Realities (R1) or worldviews. This has alternately taken place through so called Rumuku Circles in Zimbabwe, CLAD circles in Pakistan, CI (Cooperative Inquiry) generically, and CARE circles in Jordan, extending initially a three-month period.
Such altogether involves a ritualised process of individual development, in community, involving four modes of being (experiential); becoming (imaginal); knowing (conceptual) and doing (practical). This takes place characteristically in small groups. Such trans-cultural exposure to our “four worlds”, or southern, eastern, northern and western “realities”, results, over the course of an initial three months, in a ritualised and localised learning ID circle, manifested in introductory membership in Trans4m Communiversity Associates (TCA), through its local affiliates.
LOCAL-GLOBAL TRANSFORMATIONAL ASSOCIATESHIP: EMERGENCE: RE/GENE/RATIVE PILGRIMIUM: VIA OUR GENE, 4 C’S, OFET AND CARE: PhD – DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY
Our trans-formative local-global PhD program, accredited by Da Vinci Institute in South Africa as a “mode 2” University, sets the stage for what we term a re-GENE-rative Pilgrimium, involving, in some significant respect, now individual and collective re-GENE-ration. The transformative process underlying such, now underpinned by our GENE – local Grounding, local/global Emergence, newly global Navigation and global-local Effect, as an overall integral Rhythm (R2) involves a Calling (inner and outer), Context (transcultural, transformational, transdisciplinary and transpersonal), Co-creation (individual and collective) and Contribution, involving an overall Transformation Journey. Each C is accompanied, respectively, by research method (Origination), methodology (Foundation), critique (Emancipation) and action (Transformation) – hence OFET.
Such a composite journey serves to integrate the individual transformation via 4 C’s and a collective one via CARE. Our CARE then involves Community activation, Awakening integral consciousness; innovation driven, institutionalized Research, and Embodying integral development. This overall development from the trans-culturally based individual and communal learning (via our four worlds) to transformationally oriented regeneration (GENE), is specifically manifested through OFET (transformative research method), our individual 4 C’s (transformative personal journey) and collective CARE (transformative collective journey). Such a transformational, regenerative PhD, resulting in a doctoral thesis, extends over three years.
NEWLY GLOBAL TRANS-DISCIPLINARY PARTNERSHIP: INSTITUTIONAL NAVIGATION: RESEARCH ACADEMY: CURRICULUM AND METHOD: R & D: RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
The local and individual ID and individual/collective local-global PhD is thirdly followed by newly global R and D, incorporated with a transcultural, transformational, and now also transdisciplinary research academy, focused altogether on social innovation. Such involves an inter-institutional partnership between a local such academy and TCA, globally, invariably also associated with one or more local enterprises. Such an academy moreover, and on the one hand, draws generally on the trans-disciplinary realms of nature, culture, science and enterprise, set within an overall, integral polity, and specifically thereby on Bio-semiotics, Anthropology, Oikonomics and Management.
On the other hand, it is built GENE-tically upon our transformational OFET rhythm, spanning Origination/Method; Foundation/Methodology; Emancipation/Critique; and Transformation/Action Research. In a specifically “southern” relational context, such social innovation draws on Descriptive method, Phenomenological methodology, a Feminist critique and ultimately Participatory action research (DPFP). Moreover, and invariably, such is lodged in a particular culture, giving rise for example to Nhakanomics in Africa, Soulidarity Economics in Asia, and Semiotic Economics in Europe. Each one constitutes our overall R and D, in one society or another, leading to a form of Integral Economy and Enterprise.
GLOBAL-LOCAL INTEGRATION: GROUP-INSTITUTIONAL EFFECT: SOCIOECONOMIC LABORATORY: VIA INTEGRAL ECONOMY & ENTERPRISE: COMMUNIVERSITY: PHD
Finally, and by way of a culminating Laboratory set within an integral Communiversity, we lodge our group PHD program, serving to develop an integrated System and Program, for Becoming an Integral Enterprise, in either an urban or rural setting. This involves, economically and enterprise-wise, Self Sufficiency/Community Building; a Developmental Economy/ Conscious Evolution; a Social Economy/Knowledge Creation and a Living Economy/Sustainable Development in turn, straddling self and community, organisation and society. Such a transpersonal PHD (Process of Holistic Development) then, undertaken by a small and dedicated “Laboratory” group, serves to establish the wherewithal whereby our Communiversity is actualised, within and around a particular economy-and-enterprise.
